Dear Annehurst Families,
Welcome back! Hopefully, everyone enjoyed their break and our kids were able to receive some rest and relaxation. It is officially spring time even if the weather tells us otherwise. We are headed into a very important part of our school year for our 3rd – 5th graders. Your child will be taking the Ohio Achievement Assessments the week of April 22nd – 26th. It is imperative that your child attends school that week and tries their very best on these state assessments. This week is the same week as “Take Your Child to School” and I am requesting that you do not participate in this day. There is a letter in the Newsletter which addresses this in more detail. Our teachers and students have worked very hard preparing themselves for the OAA tests and I am very confident that our results will be stellar again. Please encourage your child to do their best and answer every question. Make sure that they have a good night’s rest and are able to eat breakfast in the morning. Once again, I want to thank you for supporting your child throughout the year and I look forward to a great conclusion this year.
Educationally yours,
Earl D. Rahm III
