It is hard to believe how quickly this school year is going. We are already in November, began the 2nd nine weeks and our second rotation for specials. That means we are one-third of the way finished. There have been so many great things that have occurred thus far this year. We had tremendous support during our Walk-A-Thon and raised over $8300 this year. We have celebrated this success by giving away two bicycles, a scooter, and numerous other awards. We also just recently had a school celebration at the Westerville Community Center for our student’s efforts during the Walk-a-Thon. The money raised helps support our Renaissance program, end of year field day activities, and other building initiatives.
I want to say “Thank you to our families and parents for all of your support. The Annehurst students and staff appreciate it!”
The only other new item going on right now is regarding our new “Buzzer” system located at the front door. If you have been in the school over the past couple of weeks then you will have noticed this new system. It is located on the right side of the door. Although this may appear to be cumbersome each time you need to enter the school it is for our student’s safety. Thank you for your support during this transition and it is one more way to help protect our children.
