On May 21, 2012 The Department of Purchasing & Logistics, who oversees transportation operations, provided a report to the Board regarding non-transport boundaries for students in grades K-12. These boundaries will be consistent with Board Policy (8600) that was approved by the Board on December 19, 2011. The Board delayed the implementation of policy 8600 until the FY13 school year to allow for feedback. The district engaged stakeholders by holding meetings at each school and gathered that feedback and used safety matrices to address identified concerns and thus prepare the implementation of the adjusted non-transport boundaries.
The boundaries that will be enacted for the 2012-2013 school year are listed to the right. Each boundary document includes a map and listing by street for each school.
